I had cramps for the last 2 weeks on & off. heavy bleeding started 2day but no cramps & i slept for 14 hrs. have had hpv in the past. i am currently on the pill. should i be concerned and go to the er

Unsure what to do...: I am a bit confused by your question. Hpv would have nothing to do with an acute change in how your feel. Hpv is a quiet and slow issue. It does not make a young female sick. Cramping can be caused by a lot of problems. Combine that with fatigue and resolution of your bleeding makes me think this is a temporary problem and you can wait a day or two to see if it all resolves.

See your GYN: Hpv should not cause heavy bleeding or exhaustion unless you have cervical cancer from the hpv. You need to have a gyn exam to rule out a miscarriage or other causes of heavy bleeding and to check for anemia if you are bleeding that much and so fatigued. Dont wait.
