Nose still split and sore. treated with hydrogen peroxide and vacate in which cleared it up for only a few days. that treatment won't work any more.

Vestibulitis: It depends where your nose is sore, but if it is around the nostrils, you can get a low grade infection in the nostril entrance which causes redness, pain, splitting of the nasal skin, crusting and it can be stubborn. It often requires a topical antibiotic and sometimes oral antibiotic. The hydrogen peroxide may be too irritating and drying. Should see a doctor.
