Ipratroprium: There is a generic nasal spray, ipratroprium bromide 0.06% that is very effective at shutting off the mechanism in the nose that produces these thin secretions. It can be used two squirts in each nostril as many as four times a day, if needed. As the inflammation of the cold subsides, you won't need it as often. This works for the drippy nose you might get from cold air, exercise, etc.
