Brown Rash: Without seeing the rash it is difficult to make a diagnosis. The rash could be a yeast like organism called tinea versicolor. The rash could postinflammatory hyper pigmentation meaning that irritation of the skin caused the dark pigment. The rash could be acanthosis nigricans which is more common n people with diabetes. See your dermatologist for the correct diagnosis.
