HIV Immunity: Yes. There are some rare genetic defects that make HIV infection impossible. These rare groups of people have a variety of reasons they have this defect that protects them. There is no common test yet to easily tell you if you would be immune. Every one of my patients who thought they were immune over the past fifteen years now all have become HIV positive. Please be careful.
