A member asked:

Could an epadoral from 4 years ago cause ms? first stick didn't work.or a four wheeler accident? feeling confused, anixiety, shakes, weak, lost for words

Nope: Ms is an immune disorder, of unknown trigger(s). There are clearly generic factors, though there is a lot more to it than just genes. An epidural is not believed to be a cause.

NO, NOT AN ISSUE: There are several susceptibility genes, and family members in some cases also have ms. Many environmental factors, but the american academy of neurology can find absolutely no correlation with epidural procedures or trauma. Your complaints are not necessarily diagnostic of ms, and may be more consistent with emotional reactions, perhaps due to prior trauma. See your doctor and get this addressed.
