Fever medicine: Give your child either tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil for fever reduction. In fact you mightwant to give it a half hour before the actual shots.

Fever &vaccinations: Some vaccinations can cause fever but some studies indicate that use of Acetaminophen in early months of life can lead to asthma in young children. So only use the Acetaminophen if baby is fussy with fever and temp. Is higher than 100 degrees. I have stopped using Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen prophylactically for a number of years.
