Exercise: Metabolism can be helped by increasing exercise, irrespective of your thyroid status. A combination of aerobic and strength training works best. Aim to do exercise every single day, rain or shine, at an intensity that makes you sweat and feel a bit breathless. Cutting back on calories (and carbs) will also help. I know its difficult to lose weight, so do it a day at a time. Good luck!
