A member asked:

Hello, i've been accidentally hit in the area of left temporal lobe. just as a precaution i went to hospital to check could it be something seriously.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Head trauma: Good call. The temporal bone protects the middle meningeal artery. Injury to this artery may result in a dangerous form of bleeding. However, this is usually seen in trauma hard enough to fracture the bone. Venous bleeds and contusions are also possible. A good examination and perhaps a ct scan can help with your care. Hope you feel better soon.
