Not really: Vitamin d is important for bone health and may reduce recurrence risk of some malignancies (under study), but no, it does not cure cancer as far as i know.

Can help, not cure: Research suggests having good vit d levels significantly reduces risk of many cancers and cancer patients with high levels of d live longer- see http://sciencenordic.Com/cancer-patients-high-vitamin-d-levels-live-longer vit d kills some cancer cells in vitro. It's possible that d may prevent some cancers by curing them when still microscopic, but it does not "cure" advanced cancer. See comment:.
