Vitamin D: Nope. But vitamin d very well may help prevent cancer from developing. Why vitamin d is so important is still be understood by western medicine. We don't know how it works but we do know that it is vital for health and disease prevention.

Vit D and Cancer: In a word, no. But some studies suggest that vitamin d may lower the risk some cancers, such as colorectal cancers, and my enhance the effectiveness of some chemotherapeutic drugs.

Can help, not cure: Research suggests having good vit d levels significantly reduces risk of many cancers and cancer patients with high levels of d live longer- see http://sciencenordic.Com/cancer-patients-high-vitamin-d-levels-live-longer vit d kills some cancer cells in vitro. It's possible that d may prevent some cancers by curing them when still microscopic, but it does not "cure" advanced cancer. See comment:.
