You can't. : Autism is a condition from which recovery is not possible. However, early, intensive and proper treatment will diminish many of the problems in many autistic individuals. See: http://www.Ninds.Nih.Gov/disorders/autism/detail_autism.Htm.

You can't: Autism is a chronic condition with many features. Supportive care and therapy throughout childhood will help a kid achieve their best outcome & most autistic kids improve gradually as they get older. There is increasing evidence of various gene defects involved in this condition. There is no cure at present.

Reducing atypical : Behaviors to the point that they don't interfere with a child' s academic & social functioning is a goal achieved for some kids with ASD who have average or above average cognitive ability & receive early ( best before or by age 2) & ongoing intensive behavioral, educational & social skills therapy, it requires a great deal of emotional & financial resources, that i wish were available to all.
