A member asked:

Is the diagnose of autism always correct in a child?

I cautiously say no-: However, if your child has been diagnosed with any sort of developmental delay, autism or other, the way to help them is the same; intensive, individualized early intervention programming using applied behavior analysis. While receiving the diagnosis that a child has autism is traumatic, there is little time for families to waste. Start the intervention asap! best of luck to you.
