Its been 6 weeks since i had stitches and they are a dark redish purplish blue color.. is this normal ? i had laprascopic surgery to remove a cyst

I assume: That your visible stitches have already been removed. If not, see your surgeon. Dark coloration at a scar can take 6 months or more to resolve. There are some scar ointments or patches that you could try from the drug store such as mederma, neosporin scar, etc.

Discolored healing: When we heal, there is inflammation which can persist and means the area is warm, swollen, tender and red. In addition, your body send many types of cells to the area including melanocytes which contain our skin pigment melanin. The combination of these plus the color of the sutures absorbing can combine to give the colors you are seeing. If healing is progressing well, then this is not a problem.
