If dangerous risks are found, will we know the likely survival rate?

Dr. Pam Yoder answered

Neonatologists & OBs: Expert baby doctors know chances of survival vary a lot. Survival of an embryo or fetus to live birth can be affected by maternal health, fetal health, abnormalities, bleeding, etc. The rate of survival of a newborn (the first month) depends on health of the baby, complications during pregnancy or delivery, infections and problems in the nursery and other factors, such as gestational age at birth.
