Taking celexa (citalopram) and feeling a lot better but it seems if i do get sad and cry i get very sad and angry and have trouble stopping is this a side effect?

Yes it can be : Yes it can be a side effect, discuss with your doctor or psychiastrist at next visit.Celexa (citalopram) can cause mood swings crying and depression as reported.Your doctor may switch you to another antidepressant or try dose adjustment.
