Can cold weather cause knee pain post tkr?

Theoretically: It is thought that changes in pressure with weather fronts can cause pain in joints. The changes in pressure result in slight changes in the joint resulting in pressure on the lining which results in pain. This is common in folks with arthritis and chronic swelling.

Sometimes: Patients often complain of pain and ache in their replaced knee with weather changes . Cold weather can also cause pain probably due to changes in tissue circulation after surgery. There's no evidence that the metal replacement actually gets colder!
