Back pain: Good neutral spine core strengthening program advancing to a global dynamic program in 6 weeks. Good flexibility of hip flexors and quadriceps will help decrease standing lordosis and take the load off the facet joints and open up the neuroforamina functionally.

Treatment options: There are various options for treatment of chronic back pain. If the pain is truly due to mild neuroforaminal stenosis then an epidural injection mght help. Less invasive strategies like extensive physical therapy, pilates, massage therapy, acupuncture are all options. Be sure to have a good evaluation of the cause of the pain.
