What are the symptoms, blood tests, diagnostics, and treatments for sjorgen's syndromes. which specialist you should see for this. thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry eyes / mouth: The immune system destroys the tear and salivary glands, sometimes the pancreas, kidney interstitium, lungs; a vasculitis may damage the brain. Often runs with arthritis / systemic autoimmune disease. History, schirmer test (filter paper measures lack of tear production), serum anti-ro/ssa, anti-la/ssb, get HIV & other labs also. Lymphoma risk. Common and often missed. Good luck.
