Better understanding: Your question really does not make much sense. Nerves are not "detached" under normal circumstances without severe trauma or penetrating (knife or gun) trauma. Ligaments rarely need to be fixed in the spine. For answers to these questions, i would suggest a face to face encounter with a physician to educate you in your diagnosis, options, and treatment.
