Hands swelling in the morning perticularly in the thumb to the point where it feels like its going to burst, also sensative, red, and painful?

Thumb swelling: Could be arthritis or gout. Would see orthopaedic surgeon for xray.

Several possibles: If the symptoms are localized to joints consider arthritis. It the entire hand is involved there are other possibles. See a doctor.

Hand Swelling: Consider gout, arthritis, connective tissue disease, vascular disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, sprain, or fracture--check with your orthopedic surgeon and get xrays.
