Should be fine: Most pediatric fractures heal without future consequence. As long as the x-ray notes good alignment and the injury is immobilized for the appropriate time, she should heal fine. Fracture should be followed by an orthopaedic surgeon with follow up x-rays. There is a very rare incidence of growth disturbance with injuries through the growth plate of the fractured bone. Check with doctor if a concern.

Not to worry: Fracture will heal quite well and should have no problem playing any sports she likes.
