A member asked:

Can cervical cancer stage 1a be misdiagnosed? like a 'false positive'?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: A cancer diagnosis requires reading the results of a biopsy under the microscope. When done by a qualified pathologist, there is very little chance of misdiagnosis, confusing something else as cancer. Such an early stage should have an excellent prognosis.
