A member asked:

Can a women who has antistoff in her blood after giving burth be cured again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibodies: If the antistoff (antibodies) you are referring to are the ones against rh blood type, then yes. Rhogam is used when rh negative mom carry a pregnancy with an rh positive baby. To prevent mom's blood antibodies from harming subsequent pregnancies the Rhogam is used to block the development of antibodies. It is not necessary in first pregnancy but subsequent ones.
