Chest & back acne: Consider seeing a dermatologist. Chest and back acne does not respond well to over the counter acne treatments, often needs oral treatments. If pregnancy is not in your plans, you may consider spironolactone, which blocks androgens (male-like hormones) which often cause acne or accutane. Also, pityrosporum (yeast) folliculitis may cause chest and back acne-like eruptions, too.
