Multiple ideas.: Make sure you have good posture-- sit upright in a chair with proper support. Shifting positions every 15 minutes or so is a good idea. Make sure your desk, keyboard, monitor, etc are in ergonomic positions. For many patients, achieving an ideal body weight improves back pain. I would urge you to also discuss with your doctor-- recommendations might be different if you have scoliosis, etc.
