I am 22 and in the army. i just found out that i have degenerative disc disease. can i be medically discharged for this?

DDD: Ddd is a radiographic diagnosis as opposed to a clinical one. Therefore, in and by itself, ddd should not be used as the sole reason when considering a medical discharge. Associated clinical symptoms are more important to consider. Changing your duties and assignment may be a better long-term option.
