Hi i'm am having some sharp pains in the middle off my chest, sternum when i breath deep. when i lean over or sitting down is when it happens?

Get checked out: These symptoms can be caused by anything from asthma or a respiratory infection, to strain of chest muscles or ribs, to a variety of digestive conditions (the esophagus and top of the stomach sit just behind the heart), even to inflammation around the heart itself. You should see your family doctor, who can ask detailed questions & do an exam and possibly some tests to figure it out.
