Is there a trigger?: A long list of things can trigger migraines, smoking being one. A diary may help identify what the triggers is. Sometimes none are identified at all. Concurrent rebound headache is considered in individuals on prolonged treatment w/ certain nonspecific medications such as some nsaids & combination products. See your dr for proper diagnosis & treatment (abortive therapy w/ triptans prophylactic).
