Not Likely: Aids would not be high on the list of probablilities. If you are at risk (sexually active), you should get tested. As far as the lymph node, it is likely related to exposure to infection, infection, or issue on the tongue or jaw. If it remains unchanges, gets larger, or tender, have it checked out with your family doctor. It may also be dental related, so mention it with your check up.

Doubt: Only a single small lymph node present does not suggest to me a HIV diagnosis, but worth a HIV test to be done - for routine screening given your age.

I agree: I agree with the other doctors' answers. The lymph node is unlikely to be from hiv. However, the fact that you have the thought "could this be aids" means you really should be an HIV test. The HIV test is recommended now for everyone, especially if you have risk factors for getting hiv. Found early, treating HIV can prevent so many problems.
