Work w/ &chunk info: Generally, the human brain is capable of working w/ 5 to 9 bits of info at a time. To hold on 2 more than that, u need to chunk bits of info 2gether then remember the chunks. As far as storing info, the more u actively u organize info & the more u tie it 2 info webs already stored in ur brain, the more likely u'll be able 2 retain it & retrieve it when needed. Keep track of what u know/don't know.
