Yes...: Irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) is a very common functional bowel disorder. It causes abdominal pain and cramps most commonly in the left lower abdomen. It can be associated with altered bowel habits - constipation or diarrhea or both. Abdominal bloating and gas are common complaints. Triggers include stress, foods eg. Caffeine and fried foods. Yes: Ibs comes in many "flavors" as it were including variants with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sometimes constipation. Cramps and stomach upset can occur. Do consider diet and food intolerance as well. Try a 2 week experiment going gluten-free and dairy-free. Slowly reintroduce only one back to see if symptoms recur. Be the scientist. Also consider probiotics (yogurt or kefir) as well.
