Maybe?: Silicone topical treatments are effective to help wound healing but i'm not familiar with that product. I have good experience with scar-fade. Ask your surgeon if he has a preference.

Silicone for scars: Any silicone gel based treatment may provide improvement in appearance of hypertrophic scars. Response may take a minimum of 3 weeks and may take up to 9 months to see maximal improvement. Avoid sun exposure. Topical scar massage may also expedite the scar maturation process.

Yes: If this healed raised scar it can slowly soften and flatten the scar. It can be used in conjunction with steroids i jection. Laser can also be used to decrease the thickness of a raised scar such as the pulse dye laser.

Yes: This and other brands of silicone gel or sheeting is helpful for scars and prevention of keloids. It is important to apply some sort of wound care product whether it be silicone, mederma, aquaphor or petrolatum for several weeks to months on a scar to help with the healing process.
