Maybe?: Silicone topical treatments are effective to help wound healing but i'm not familiar with that product. I have good experience with scar-fade. Ask your surgeon if he has a preference.

Yes: This and other brands of silicone gel or sheeting is helpful for scars and prevention of keloids. It is important to apply some sort of wound care product whether it be silicone, mederma, aquaphor or petrolatum for several weeks to months on a scar to help with the healing process.
