Doubt it: At your age and gender, nutrition is very important. Eating healthy is important for energy as well as hydration and sleep. Having tight muscles may mean many things, but they do not sap your energy.

Tight muscles: Unlikely. Typically tight muscles are due to overuse. The result is the muscle tightens down to prevent tearing and remains stuck in this locked position. This phenomenon is not an energy consumption process. However, if you are tightening your muscles due to stress, that would burn energy.
