Hip: There is likely some pathology coming from that hip. See your doctor for an evaluation and possibly an xray.

Onset?: If you have traumatized your hip or groin with lifting, fall, or accident, seek medical attention for consideration of x-ray. Soft tissue injuries from lifting (not visible on x-ray) include hernia and tendinitis. A musculoskeletal doctor can help determine a treatment plan with their examination. There is no harm in a day of rest, heat application, and gentle stretches to treat this yourself
