It may be: If your periods are not regular you may not be ovulating on a regular basis. This may make it more difficult to get pregnant but does not mean you will be infertile. It does mean that you cannot rely on the "rhythm method" to prevent pregnancy. Women with irregular periods may get pregnant on accident because they do not know when they are ovulating.
