Not usually: Anemia from iron deficiency can cause fatigue, but ferrous sulfate usually does not. The most common side effects are an upset stomach or constipation. Certain other medical conditions can problems with iron overload, but if you are othewise healthy, and are taking the appropriate dose, this is unlikely. If the problem persists, follow-up with your doctor for advise.
