Typical: The eschar from a healing burn will often do that. Keep antibiotic ointment on it.

Probably normal: Sounds like a normal healing reaction to me. It would help if we knew how long ago this happened, whether the burn caused pain or numbness, whether it is oozing, or has any honey-colored granules on it, etc.
