Tinea versicolor?: Tinea versicolor is an infection of skin with a yeast that normally lives in our hair follicles in oilier areas of skin. It can be lighter/darker than skin color or pink/reddish. May/may not be itchy & gets worse with hot weather, humidity & sweating. Sometimes can be treated topically with antifungal creams or shampoos but if extensive needs oral meds. Green tea and aveeno (oatmeal) lotion don't affect it.
