Maybe not: The risk of induction at that point is primarily to the fetus, not to the mom. If you live far from the hospital, one option is to have you admitted now to get you better pain relief, though it also may only be typical pre-labor discomfort that you are experiencing.

Probably not: You should be at term to deliver. If you are that far from the hospital, you should consider temporarily moving closer, but induction at that gestational age would put your baby at risk.
