Does dental bonding contain toxic chemicals? how about metal filings

Dental fillings: Toxic chemicals are not used in the mouth as far as amalgam fillings no negative research is present and silver fillings have a history of reducing caries around them and they hold up longer it's just cosmetically they aren't pretty.

Depends: Depends on what you consider toxic and at what dose you receive the chemical. Bonded fillings contain bpa currently in a gray area on many fronts, metallic filings contain about 50% mercury. As a dentist I have 2 places to put these fillings your mouth or an epa registered hazardous waste dump. Which do you prefer?
