Heavy meals: Heavy meals could put a strain on the heart -- so do caffeine and alcohol.

Interesting question: Generally speaking, foods don't cause arrhythmias unless you're eating foods with caffeine (cocoa, cola, coffee etc). Why not get a 24 hour recorder (holter monitor) from your doctor, eat and try to reproduce your symptoms, carefully recording what you ate, exactly when, and what you felt. Then he/she can correlate exactly what your rhythm is with your symptoms & food. You don't smoke, do you?
