Would two previous c-sections (last one 3 years back) make a colonoscopy more painful? i need to have it without sedation so i'd like to prepare.

No: The scar and cut in uterus for C-section is far away from colon. Colonoscopy now a days is painless any way.

Maybe: Hard to know. There is an increased risk of scar tissue so that could make the procedure more uncomfortable. However, a pediatric colonoscope may help. Share your concerns with your gastroenterologist and they can probably help you get through it. Good luck.
