Yes, but many others: For older patients with peripheral arterial disease (pad) that is significant, ischemic rest pain may result which is classically described as a burning pain in the feet, usually across the base of the toes, worsened with elevation and improved with the foot hanging down. Many other diseases can cause the similar syndromes, so it's best to consult with your primary care doc.

Burning feet: Yes poor circulation can cause those things but at times worn out nerve endings (neuropathy) can also be responsible. Ask your doctor and if he is not certain he/she can ask a vascular surgeon to help sort it out. That is an issue they have to sort out frequently.
