Please have chked: Please call your pediatrician. He may want to see your child or refer her to a pediatric ophthalmologist. Being color blind much more common in boys than girls.

Recognition: Color recognition in early childhood can come in as early as 3 and as late as 5. I never worry about color vision at 3. After the age of 5-6, when a kid is conversational enough to understand testing, the ishihara color plates can be shown to verify any deficiencies. I would ignore this for now.
