Pregnancy test: The only real way to tell the difference is to see whether or not you have a positive home pregnancy test. Otherwise they feel they same.

No major difference: I always tell med students, ..No such thing as a dumb question! the pain is breasts can come from hormonal changes and pregnancy as well as menstrual cycle changes can both have hormonal variations that cause tenderness. Later in the pregnancy, breast milk can start to be produced which can cause more fullness.Tenderness, so if is not until later in pregnancy the soreness would be different.

Not really: It is changing with your cycle. If you were pregnant it just wouldn't change after the initial pain (until you deliver).
