Up to a degree: Up to a certain degree, it is expected that some patients may experience this. Your dr should check this; but beta blockers like propanolol induce receptors so that when you taper off, neurotransmitters exert more effect than normally. If this is the case, it should go away gradually; but if in doubt, you may ask your dr to slow down the rate, or clarify the situation.
