Yes: The lightheadness may or may not be related to tapering. If sleep is altered it may cause that.

Taper appropriate: That is a slow taper, which is proper. Getting off chronic benzo use is wise. It's very unlikely that any serious effects will come from such a slow taper. Abnormal vital signs would not be expected in this situation, so that should be evaluated rather than blamed on the taper. Stick with the overall plan and stay in close contact with your doctor.
