Rare regrowth occur: Basal cell can recur locally. Out can also be scar formation.If it was an excision there might be a deep suture that troyou are feeling. Time to have the doctor check it out.

See your surgeon: This could simply be firm scar tissue but could also be additional cancer. If it is just scar, it may improve with time or cortisone injections. If it is more skin cancer, then more surgery will be needed. You should go see your surgeon to have it checked.
