Cramps during my minstrel cycle tend to hurt terribly. why is this?

Endometriosis?: I would advise seeing your primary care md to discuss and have workup either there or with gyn to evaluate for ovarian cysts/endometriosis or other possible causes, and there are treatments available for each!

May be "normal": Cramps can be severe. If you are unable to function during the bad days, speak to a gyn about alternatives to pain meds. In the meantime starting Ibuprofen a couple of days before it starts can help decrease intensity of pain in some people.
